After over 12 years of dedicated service to Gold Country Treasure Seekers, our beloved webmaster Jan Nixon is officially passing the torch.
Jan has tirelessly maintained the old GCTS website, kept our Facebook presence active, sent out dozens of newsletters and event reminders, and served as the go-to communicator between the club and the public. She has played a major role in keeping GCTS informed, connected, and thriving.
As Jan retires from this role, we enter a new chapter in our club’s history. The next phase of our website and communications will focus on automating information updates, modernizing our digital presence, and adding new features that make it easier for members to engage—especially as we approach our 45th Anniversary in 2026.
Please join us at the June 16th meeting to thank Jan in person. Bring your finds, your stories, and your appreciation. And yes—there will be refreshments.
